So Little Time

I feel like I am always behind.  So many tasks seem to go undone, and honestly my blogs have been at the bottom of the list.  I have so much to write about and so little time.  We traveled to Costa Rica in November and it was an amazing trip.  David and I traveled alone on this trip and met Keith the day before we left and passed all of our contacts to him.  David and I were able to have 8 different Bible studies with 15 different people and many more wanting to study...and not enough time to get everyone in.  These people are wanting something, they hunger for something.  Currently there is a trip scheduled for sometime in January.  We will be unable to go in January.    Please pray for us.  We have had our home listed with a realtor for 7 months now and have even listed it as available for a rental.  We are willing and waiting.  We know that God's timing is perfect.
I will try to get our last few items listed in our Etsy store tomorrow and Monday.  Everything is ready to be shipped.  Please take a look at everything that is listed.  All prices have been reduced in the store to clear out inventory.  We are ready for a new year with a new look and a new flare in our artwork.  The ideas are endless.  If you would like to make a year end donation for our mission work in Costa Rica and receive your charitable tax donation please click on the donate tab on the rigth of our page and comment that you are donating for RABOIN Costa Rica MISSIONS.  We are managed through http://www.footprintsofcharity.org/ and your donations are tax deductible.

Got Love? ADOPT

                                                   got love? adopt decal
I am so excited to finally announce that we are partnering with www.gotloveadopt.com.  If you have not checked out their website please do.  The Apsia's are an amazing family and I am so lucky that we crossed paths here in cyber world.  I came across the Apsia's blog way back when we started thinking about adopting again, after Carson.  They are currently waiting for a referral from South Korea.  They had this brilliant idea of selling these awesome "Got Love?  Adopt"  t-shirts, their own original idea.  You should purchase one, or two, or some for your entire family.  I am a very proud owner of several myself.
Over the past year Kelly and I have corresponded through blogworld, Facebook, and lots of emails.  She told me a couple months ago that they were finally going to launch a webpage to sell their items.  They have grown so much that the blog store needed to become a real store.
When they decided to finally do this, she asked if we would like to make items with their special logo to sell in their store.  I was like, "YES!!!!"  Win, win!!!!  They are still raising funds for their adoption and are working their site to further help the orphan crisis and continue making it "Minus 1."  They just officially opened the site this weekend, and wow it is going awesome.  Please pray for them and their mission to continue making "Minus 1."
Please check out their store and their awesome products.  You will only be able to purchase products with the "Got Love? Adopt" logo from their store.
Thanks again for everyones support and prayers.  Please continue to pray for us and this journey we are on.  We currently have our house listed with a realtor and are waiting for it to sell.  Keith and John, two of the men who have traveled with us to Costa Rica in past trips left this morning to go to Costa Rica.  David was unable to go on this trip, but we are praying that he will be financially able to send him in November, Lord-willing.  At this point he is out of paid vacation, so the next trip we will be coming up with expenses plus no pay while he is gone.  Please pray about this situation.

The Labor Goes On

We have been back from Costa Rica for 2 weeks now and the Labor of the Lord still continues in Costa Rica.  For those of you who have not been following David's Blog then you don't know that three people were baptized on our most recent visit to Costa Rica.  These people are so special.  Their names are Lorraina, Neyci, and Jose.  There are several more who are diligently studying the Word, making changes in their lifes, and we are praying their hearts are being prepared to be given to the Lord and they will take the plunge into living as a Christian.  These wonderful people have chipped away at pieces in mine and David's hearts.  They chipped and have neslted right into my everyday thoughts.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about these wonderful people, their families, and all the other special people that we have met during all of our trips to Costa Rica.
It has been such an amazing experience to see God's Word do all the work.  All we have to do is spread the seed and let God do the increase (David has voiced this so well in one if his more recent posts).  We are both diligently learning Spanish (David being more advanced than myself) so our abilities to give elaborate explanations of verses and their meanings are limited.  But it is so evidently CLEAR that WE DO NOT need to do this.  We show them the Word and God speaks to them, not I and not David.  The language has not been the barrier that I thought it would be.  There are so many other ways of communicating with one another; we also spend time teaching one another's language.  They are just as starving to  learn English as I am Spanish.
I ask that you please remember these precious people in your prayers.  Pray they will have the strength to continue in the Labor of the Lord and spread the seed.  They have had two Sunday services since we left.  They said that they went very well are very excited about the future.

Keith and John (he went on the 1st two trips), Lord-willing, will be returning at the beginning of September.  I will not be returning, probably, until sometime next spring.  David is out of paid time off at this time and does not know if he will be able to have it approved to leave for more trips without pay before his vacation time renews in January.  We are saving everything we can in order for it to be a reality for him to be able to go, should his work allow him to be gone without pay in the future.  My mother and I are laboring on with more jewelry.  We have about  15 different new ideas and are slowly gathering all the supplies needed to make those ideas new products for you.  I am thinking you will be able to start some early Christmas shopping soon!!
